AXA and ING to refocus on local distribution of insurance propositions
Παρασκευή, 26 Νοεμβρίου 2021 21:44AXA and ING intend to refocus their partnership on the local delivery of existing insurance propositions, building on their joint work and experience so far and moving from a central platform approach to one that’s managed locally.
The proposed approach reflects the reduced number of markets covered by the partnership (after ING’s recent exits of its Retail Banking markets in the Czech Republic and Austria). It would better enable AXA and ING to respond to the specific insurance demands of local customers and distribution preferences in selected ING Retail Banking markets – which, in turn, will determine the scope and focus of the partnership locally.
Since launching the strategic partnership in 2018, AXA and ING have jointly developed new insurance propositions and services for ING’s customers. These have been introduced in several countries, offering a shared customer experience.
Services to existing customers are currently not impacted and will be maintained. Customers will be informed, should there be any changes.
ING will continue to focus on delivering a differentiating customer experience in all its markets.
