AEGIS London trades on Whitespace

All underwriters of Lloyd’s managing agency AEGIS London are now available on Whitespace.

The announcement comes as the Lloyd’s of London insurance market moves to electronic trading while the underwriting room of the centuries-old exchange is closed amid the coronavirus pandemic.

According to AEGIS London, using the Whitespace insurance trading platform, its underwriters are able to transact business in all of the classes it writes.

“Our aim during this difficult period is to maintain our usual high levels of service,” stated managing director David Croom-Johnson (pictured). “With all our underwriters available through Whitespace, brokers can be assured that they will get a speedy response to requests for quotations.

“Our Opal online quote-and-bind platform is also open for business as usual.”
