James Gearey joins Covéa

Covéa Insurance has announced James Gearey as corporate development and strategy director.

His appointment will be subject to regulatory approval.

James was director of partnerships at Aviva UK between 2006 and 2008, before joining Siemens Financial Services, where he was CEO of their UK and Nordics business until 2017. More recently, James was managing director of commercial risk solutions at RSA.

James Reader, CEO of Covéa insurance, said, ‘I am delighted to welcome James to our Executive team. We have ambitious plans for our business and he brings a wealth of experience and skills to help ensure that we achieve those ambitions. As well as playing a leading role in driving our strategy, James will have a particular focus on the development of new partnerships, to enable us to deliver our exceptional levels of service to even more customers.’
