During a meeting chaired by Marie-Ange Debon, Chairwoman of La Banque Postale’s Supervisory Board and Chairwoman and Chief Executive Officer of La Poste Groupe, the Supervisory Board has appointed Philippe Aymerich as an independent Director, on the recommendation of the bank’s Appointments and Governance Committee.
Philippe Aymerich will succeed Nefissa Sator, whom La Banque Postale would like to thank warmly for her contribution to the work of the Supervisory Board and in particular for her role as Chair of the Compensation Committee which she performed with diligence and commitment.
With more than thirty-five years of experience in operational management, risk management, transformation and governance roles at one of Europe’s leading banking groups, Philippe Aymerich will bring outstanding expertise to La Banque Postale’s Supervisory Board.

Biography
Philippe Aymerich is a graduate of HEC. He has spent his entire career within the Societe Generale group, which he joined in 1987. After nine years in the General Inspection division, he held several management positions at Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking (SGCIB) in Spain, the United States and France. At the end of 2006, he was appointed Deputy Chief Risk Officer for the group. In 2012, he became Chief Executive Officer of Crédit du Nord. In 2018, he was promoted to the position of Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Societe Generale, responsible for French Retail Banking and group resources. While in this role, he supervised the creation in 2023 of SG, the bank resulting from the merger of the Societe Generale and Crédit du Nord banking networks, and the development of BoursoBank.
