Alpha Bank’s programs “Together, for better education” and “Nomos-Nomizo-Nomisma” in Kassos

On Friday, September 13, 2019, the Alpha Bank Corporate Social Responsibility Team visited Kassos with the program “Together, for better education” that supports primary schools across Greece, as well as with the educational program of the Bank’s Numismatic Collection “NomosNomizo-Nomisma”.

In particular, in the context of the Corporate Responsibility program “Together, for better education”, the Alpha Bank Executives offered to the Primary School of Kassos a comprehensive interactive teaching system consisting of a whiteboard, a computer and a projector, as well as books and
sports equipment.

The program “Together, for better education” was launched in 2018 and until today has supported the operation of 20 primary schools in various regions of the country.

On the same day, the students of the Primary School of Kassos had also the opportunity to get to know the innovative educational program of the Bank’s Numismatic Collection “NomosNomizo-Nomisma” and to learn about the history of ancient coins using a custom-designed interactive suitcase which contains rich educational material. The program, now taking place for the third consecutive school year, has visited 241 schools so far, throughout Greece.
