Piraeus Bank CSR program: Project Future supports young Greeks

Young people in Greece are set to benefit from the innovative corporate responsibility program of Piraeus Bank, Project Future, which bridges the gap between education and labour market. The second cycle of the program has started and young graduates, who have been selected from thousands of candidates, will attend speeches and presentations by executives.
Piraeus Bank Chief Executive Officer, Christos Megalou said: “Piraeus Bank is committed to running the Project every year as part of its mission to support the next generation of business professionals in Greece and develop the local young talent to make the economy more vibrant. Until now, more than 60% of the people that participated in the first cycle have been hired in major companies.”
The scheme offers young Greeks valuable professional experience, skills and business contacts, all of which will help them secure a job in the future.
Project Future offers young graduates training in specialist disciplines like Java, Digital Marketing, Sales and Data Science. The training begins on May 6 and upon its completion, the graduates will be offered a minimum of a six-month paid employment contract in major companies based in Greece.
The program runs for an entire calendar year and consists of two training cycles: October and March.
The next cycle starts in October 2019.
