Funding support to Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises from Alpha Bank through the Action “BUSINESS FINANCING - Entrepreneurship Fund II”

Alpha Bank, consistent with its commitment to support the Greek entrepreneurship, signed an agreement with the Hellenic Fund for Entrepreneurship and Development
(ETEAN S.A.) for preferential financing of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises through the Action “Business Financing - Entrepreneurship Fund II”, as the 40% of the loan is interest-free due to the participation of the Entrepreneurship Fund II.

The Entrepreneurship Fund II is co-funded from Greece and the European Union - European Regional Development Fund, in the context of the Operational Programme Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation and Regional Programmes of NSRF 2014-2020.
Alpha Bank will provide at least Euro 250 million in order to fund the business and investment plans of the eligible SMEs with the following favorable terms:

• Preferential interest rate decreased by 40%, due to participation of the Entrepreneurship Fund II with no interest rate.
• Tax-plus of the Law 128/75 decreased by 40%.
• Large amount of funding, up to Euro 1.5 million for investment loans and up to Euro 500.000 for working capitals for development purposes.
• Flexibility in repayment, depending on the trading cycle of each enterprise.

In addition, according to the NSRF 2014-2020 Actions, enterprises with an investment plan can be funded -under conditions- for the section of project’s own participation, with a long-term loan through the Action “Business Financing - Entrepreneurship Fund II”.

The final date for the disbursement of these loans is 31.10.2023, provided that the allocated budget for the program hasn’t been absorbed earlier.
